Lindsay Lohan may file for bankruptcy

After failing to settle her monthly rent in London, American celebrity and actress Lindsay Lohan might find herself filing for bankruptcy, an article of the Economic Times stated on October 22.

According to reports, the 30-year-old actress is renting a $4.2 million Knightsbridge property where she owes $95,000 in back payments. The property’s landlord, who was not identified, claimed that Lohan failed to pay her rent for the last six months and is expecting to petition her to consider bankruptcy if she does not settle her debts. In the notice, Lohan was given a November 8 deadline for her to pay her rent. The bankruptcy issue comes after opening a nightclub in Greece with Dennis Papageorgiou, a businessman who is romantically linked to the actress.

Ways to possibly address your credit card debts

Many people this year have been struggling with their finances based on a recent data that nationwide credit card debt has reached $912 billion. Financial experts have observed that though people tend to earn more, they likely are also spending more by using credit cards, which often leads to unmanageable debts.

According to financial experts, settling all kinds of debt, including credit card debt, is considered to be “one of the smartest investments” people could make. For those who have been burdened by credit card debt, they may consider having their monthly payments reduced if they have a good credit score. Individuals who have good credit could also consider refinancing for them to get lower interest rates that are fixed. Usual debt solution tips like reducing daily expenses and having an additional source of income, even considered a cliché, is a sure fire way for people to dramatically address their debts.
